Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans Completes Renovation

Windsor Court Hotel, New Orleans

Good news out of New Orleans: The Windsor Court Hotel has just announced the completion of its $22 million renovation project led by Dallas-based design firm Flick Mars. Just a stone’s throw from the French Quarter, the luxury hotel was purchased from Orient-Express in 2009 and the new ownership team (the Berger Company of New Orleans along with Crow Family Holdings of Dallas) planned a makeover.

All 316 guest rooms and suites got new décor, Frette linens, Keurig coffee-makers, and state-of-the-art electronics; the Club Level Lounge was refurbished; the pool has new wrought iron lounge chairs with blue-green cushions; and the famous Grill Room and Polo Club Lounge have new red carpets, drapes, and furnishings. What’s more, the hotel has unveiled a Cocktail Bar in the lobby, where resident mixologist Christine Jeanine Nielsen serves expertly crafted cocktails.

Coming this spring: the brand new Spa at Windsor Court with Swarovski crystals studded in the ceiling of the reception area. The 4,500 square foot spa will have 10 treatment rooms including a couple's suite. To learn more about the hotel’s new amenities, see the website: www.windsorcourthotel.com.
