Unbeknownst to many, Mexico has a flourishing wine culture in the Guadalupe Valley of Baja California, and we same it's time to pour yourself a glass.
We hear that Garza Blanca Preserve, Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta is pairing its monthly dinner events at restaurant Blanca Blue with wines from Mexico's Monte Xanic winery.
Guests can sign up for 25-person group dinners served by the in-house sommelier Elsa Gonzales Pieuchot and Chef Francisco Tadeo Ruano. Note: Ruano just repressed Mexico at the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.
Wines will include Calixa Cabernet/Syrah, a signature Cabernet Sauvignon, a Limited Edition Syrah/Cabernet and a 2007 Gran Ricardo.
