Winners Announced at World's 50 Best Bars Awards 2014

Artesian London

Last night in London, 500 leading bar professionalisms gathered for the annual World’s 50 Best Bars Awards. Organized by Drinks International Magazine, the awards are determined by an academy of industry experts from all four corners of the globe. Snagging top honors was Artesian, the Langham Hotel London’s watering hole and one of our long-time favorites.

Beautifully designed by the David Collins Studio, Artesian steals the spotlight for its innovative menu by trendsetting head bartender Alex Kratena, who is an endless source of creativity and inspiration in the field. (Seasonal concoctions have included tarantula cocktails and creepy-crawly Vieux Carré cocktails, served with a side of toasted Colombian giant ants and Mopani worms, for Halloween.)
