Winter in Weggis: Live Music at the Lalique Caviar Bar at the Park Hotel

Park Hotel WeggisThe Park Hotel Weggis, consistently rated one of the top hotels in the world, has an impressive calendar of events that changes monthly. From art gallery openings and seasonal cooking classes to Chinese New Year celebrations and Valentine’s Day feasts, this Swiss hotel on Lake Lucerne does it all. They even offer guests the opportunity to go behind the scenes with “Backstage Spectacle”- a rare glimpse into the inner workings of hotel management where guests shadow the staff through the kitchens, wine caves, even the boiler rooms.

Now that the temperatures are dropping, it’s time to cozy up in the hotel's LALIQUE Caviar Bar. Capturing spectacular views of Lake Lucerne, the bar is decorated with sparkling artwork by world-renowned crystal manufacturer Lalique. On the menu: caviar, sustainably sourced by Swiss caviar company Zwyer, a selection of malt whiskies, and cigars. From September to the end of May the bar offers live music from Tuesday to Sunday starting from 5:30 pm. This month John Gibson entertains guests with blues, soul and r & b, while November will showcase the talents of first-class pianist Landini Francesco.
