This weekend the hit show “Downton Abbey” will end with the series finale. Downton fans shouldn’t feel too down as they can still visit the real-life set, Highclere Castle. However, tickets to the castle are hard to come by, but these tours will get visitors through the door with ease. Take a look.

Zicasso is now offering travelers a special Tribute to Downton Abbey Tour. The nine-day tour takes clients on a private adventure through England and Scotland. Along the way, guests will get to see some of the most recognizable filming locations of the show. The highlight will be a guided tour of Highclere Castle.

There will be tours of London, afternoon tea at The Ritz London, a visit to Bampton village (Downton village), lunch at the renowned Criterion Restaurant, a chance to drive a classic car and more. All the sites and activities have relevance to the television series and will leave fans thrilled, we think. Note: In London, there will also be time to visit famous landmarks.

The custom package includes an eight nights of accommodations, daily breakfast, private transfers, private driver/guide, lunch at Criterion Restaurant and afternoon tea at The Ritz London. International airfare is not included.

Collette is also adding guided tours of Highclere Castle to select trips, including England’s Treasures and British Landscape. The tour of the castle will take visitors to the drawing room, saloon, dining room, many of the bedrooms and the music room. Guests will also get the chance to walk through the gardens and surrounding woodlands.

There is also the option to visit the castle with Noteworthy, which offers a private tour of the castle and other unique experiences. Guests can opt to have dinner at the Crawley sisters’ favorite restaurants (as seen in the show), gaze upon the actual outfits the cast wore and enjoy racing at Goodwood — it’s like stepping back in time. Pay attention, there’s also the opportunity to have afternoon tea with Jim Carter, fans may know him is Carson, the butler, on the show.
