Major news from Dubai today: Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, in collaboration with UAE-based holding company Bright Start LLC, have formally announced their plans for a resort property in Jumeirah Beach. Bright Start is developing the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach and has appointed H&H Investment and Development as the development manager.
We hear that the resort, which is already under construction, will be situated on a 11-acre natural waterfront site along the Arabian Gulf when it opens in mid-2014, a little more than a mile from Dubai’s central commercial district and key tourism landmarks along Sheikh Zayed Road.
Located at the northern end of Jumeirah Beach Road, away from the city’s other resorts clustered in the Palm Jumeirah area, guests at the resort will have exclusive access to 886 feet of beach. The Resort will be home to at least three restaurants, and poolside dining. We hear the property will also be home to a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and private beach club.
