Dukes London, which recently completed a multimillion-pound, top-to-bottom renovation, is inviting couples to celebrate Valentine's Day with a new package. This year travelers can let Dukes set the scene for two nights at London's most exclusive address, while wining and dining their beloved with a limited-edition, six course menu at the hotel's Great British Restaurant (GBR).
Couples can check into to one of the hotel's luxury rooms, where strawberries dipped in chocolate and a red rose await, before heading out to explore the famous sights of London. Nestled in a quiet cobbled courtyard in St. James's, Mayfair, Dukes London is located near Harrods, Buckingham Palace, The National Gallery and Trafalgar Square only a few minutes away. Also, nearby are St James's Park and Green Park. Travelers can receive bespoke experiences, from a personalized box of chocolates to private shopping at one of the local Royal Warrant shops.
After a day exploring London, travelers can return to Dukes to have a drink at Dukes Bar. They can have a pre-dinner aperitif before experiencing an exclusive, six-course menu with a special-edition welcome drink and bottle of wine at GBR. Upon arrival at the restaurant, guests will be greeted with a Black Velvet or Raspberry Bellini, His or Her cocktails, which are included in the set menu. Available for one night only, Head Bartender Maria has also created the His or Her cocktail menu to celebrate the special day. Guests will have several options from the exclusive menu, paired with dishes including Scottish langoustine broth with seaweed bread, duck leg terrine, and chalk stream trout served with mussels and saffron potatoes.
The Valentine's Day Package is priced at £985 and includes two nights with breakfast, amenities such as strawberries dipped in chocolate, and a six-course set menu at GBR with a bottle of wine on February 14. The package is applicable for stays between February 13 to 16, 2019.
