Six Senses Plans New Private Island Resort in the Seychelles

Six Senses Zil Pasyon

Come summer 2016, Six Senses will debut a new resort in the Seychelles and it’s already getting lots of buzz. Six Senses Zil Pasyon will be situated on a private island called Félicité, distinguished by dramatic rock formations and powdery sand beaches. The resort will be accessed by a 20-minute helicopter ride (operated by Zil Air), as the island is just 30 nautical miles northeast of Seychelles International Airport (SEZ). It will also be possible to arrive by boat from nearby La Digue and Praslin islands.

Six Senses will be the only resort on the island, encompassing 30 pool villas designed in a sleek, contemporary style with indoor/outdoor spaces with breathtaking views. (Here’s the specific accommodations break-down: 28 one-bedroom villas, 2 two-bedroom villas and 17 private residences.) Facilities will include a Six Senses spa and a rock-edged swimming pool.

Six Senses has garnered acclaim for the resort that opened in Portugal’s Douro Valley last year. Other Six Senses resorts in the pipeline include locations in Bhutan, Taiwan, Bali and Tunisia.
