Eating Italy's New Food Tour, Testaccio Supper Stroll

Eating Italy is offering a new food tour called the Testaccio Supper Stroll, which begins September 19.

The Testaccio Supper Stroll is the follow-up tour after the successful Taste of Testaccio and Twilight Trastevere tours in Rome.

With Roman cuisine bring born in Testaccio, it makes sense that the foodie tour runs through this neighborhood. The area is home to the quinto quarto (offal) and trapizzino (and stuffed pizza-dough snack), as well as plenty of classic Roman fare like oxtail – a typical Italian aperitivo – cheeses, cured meats, and gelato.

The tour is perfect for adventurous foodies, while other highlights of the Testaccio Supper Stroll includes discovering Italy’s craft beer scene, enjoying plenty of wine and spirits, and learning a little history.

Tours run Monday to Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and are adults-only.
