Eden Roc Miami Beach has appointed Shawn Gracey as area managing director. Gracey brings more than 26 years of experience in the hotel industry to the team, having held a number of senior positions throughout his career. He has been with Destination Hotels & Resorts for six years, most recently in Houston, Texas where h e was the general manager at Hotel Derek.
As area managing director, Gracey will oversee all daily operations at the resort as well as play a role in property development, business growth and the hiring of key positions within the resort's executive team. His background includes roles as general manager at a wide range of luxury hotels throughout California and Texas.
