Betty, Peggy, Joan and Megan are already style icons, but Mad Men’s leading ladies have spurred on a second collection of make-up to confirm their roles as beauty icons too.
Estée Lauder launches its Mad Men make-up collection next week, inspired by the very successful American TV drama set in the Sixties, when porcelain skin, nude lips and cashmere cream manicured nails were de rigueur.
With vintage packing taken straight from the Estée Lauder archives, complete with a very old school click-click compact, it's almost as if this trio has been pinched straight off the set. So while the See Thru Blush in Light Show, Rich Lipstick in Pinkadelic and Nail Lacquer in Pink Paisley may be bang on trend for spring/summer 2013, it almost makes us feel in character. Pity Don Draper isn't a gift with purchase really.
