Etihad Airways and Alitalita Roll Out Two Aircraft to Build Buzz for Expo Milano 2015

Looking forward to Expo Milano 2015? Etihad Airways and Alitalia are -- the two airlines have debuted two aircraft in a special Expo Milano 2015 livery to mark their co-sponsorship of the event.

Held in Milan from May 1, 2015, to October 31, 2015, the event is expected to draw 20 million visitors to the Italian city. 

The airlines held joint simultaneous events at Malpensa Airport in Milan and Abu Dhabi Airport to unveil the two Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

The two aircraft will operate their first flights October 21, 2014, between Rome and Abu Dhabi. 

Milan is set to get new flights during the Expo, including daily flights between Milan Malpensa and Abu Dhabi on Alitalia. These flights will connect with Etihad Airways’ services throughout the Middle East and with markets in the Indian sub-continent, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
