In May, Etihad Airways will open a new First Class Lounge at Abu Dhabi International Airport’s terminal three for its First Class guests. These guests include Etihad Guest Platinum, Etihad Airways Partners Platinum guests and those staying in The Residence on its Airbus A380 fleet.
“The new First Class Lounge in Abu Dhabi will be the jewel in the crown of our ever-growing global lounge portfolio, a showcase of intelligent design and innovation, and the world’s best premium airport experience. We are confident that it will deliver a product and service which is as highly acclaimed as it is inflight and look forward to unveiling its many unique features with great pride,” said Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways chief commercial officer.
The new lounge will have a modern Arabian design and elements of elegance that are synonymous with the Etihad Airways brand.
In 2015 the airline carried 17.4 million passengers. From Abu Dhabi, Etihad flies to or has announced plans to serve 116 passenger and cargo destinations.
