Eurobound's Truffle Excursion in Italy

This fall, travelers visiting Northern Italy’s Piedmont region will be able to hunt for fine truffles. Eurobound has introduced an eight-night independent, self-drive package for clients who want to look for Italy’s best truffles.

Guests will spend a morning in the forests of the Langhe area. (This is where the famous Alba truffles are found.) Travelers will be paired with a truffle guide and a specially trained dog. Along the way, the guide will provide information about the delicacy.

Of course, there will be truffles served with lunch and wine. Guests will also get to complement the truffles with cheese, wine and chocolate tastings and local private tours during the trip. Cheese tastings will be held in Tomino and Taleggio in Northen Piedmont. There will also be more tastings at Lake Iseo with the Alps as the backdrop.

This eight-night package begins in Milan and ends in Venice. Guests will spend nights in five-star accommodations, including Hotel Relais San Maurizio, L’Albereta Relais e Chateaux and Hotel Ca’Sagredo in Venice. The package also includes a six-day rental of a full-size car with an automatic transmission, private tours of Torino and Venice with English speaking guides and water taxi service in Venice.
