Fairmont Scottsdale to Expand Resort by May 2016

fairmont scottsdale roomsThe Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort in Arizona recently announced the second phase of its expansion. The renovations, expected to be completed by May 2016, will include the addition of new guestrooms, a new pool, a Great Lawn space and an updated western town venue. 

The Fairmont will work with its original designers, Allen + Philip, to add 102 new guestrooms and suites to the resort’s current 648. New rooms will include indoor/outdoor features, such as patios and balconies, so guests can enjoy the nature of Scottsdale. 

Guests staying at the Fairmont in 2016 will also enjoy a new pool, Sunset Beach. At 6,900 square feet, the pool will be the largest of the six resort pools and will include a swim-up bar and splash pad. 

The resort will also be adding two new event spaces, the Great Lawn and Copper Canyon. The Great Lawn will have 35,000 square feet of green space for large group meetings, receptions, dining experiences and other team activities. The new western town, Copper Canyon, will have a new saloon, a stage with a dance floor, a blacksmith shop, a jail, and other western-themed event spaces.

The Fairmont Scottsdale’s new rooms will be available to book by July 2016.
