COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (AP) — Works by such well-known artists as Marc Chagall and Maxfield Parrish are among the highlights of the lineup of exhibits planned this year at the Fenimore Art Museum in upstate New York.

The museum located near the shores of Otesaga Lake in Cooperstown has announced its schedule of 10 new exhibitions running from April through the end of December.

Six exhibitions open the season on April 1, including "Chagall's Magic Flute: Highlights from the Metropolitan Opera" and "Masterpieces of American Indian Art from the Thaw Collection."

An exhibit featuring the works of Maxfield Parrish opens May 23 and runs through Sept. 7.

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's death, the museum will display items in its collection related to the president's assassination, including the autopsy and physician's report from April 1865.
