First Look: Hotel Villa Cora in Florence Unveils Renovated Rooms

We're excited about the restyled rooms and grounds at the Grand Hotel Villa Cora in Florence, Italy. The mansion dates back to the 19th century, and underwent a major renovation just a few years ago.

Have a look at the first pictures of the improvements—and be sure to watch the video for a closer look!

We hear the suite designs were inspired by celebrities who have stayed at the Villa over the years—think Japanese Emperors and the Princess Eugenia, wife of Napoleon III. who had a great passion for roses. The suites have original "creaky" parquet floors and original frescoed ceilings with four-poster beds or have rose-theamed boudoirs and canopy beds. Good to know: The Junior Suite, which can accommodate three adults and a roll-in crib, is a good pick for families.

Be sure to check out the Turkish bath in the hotel spa. Both Asian and European treatments are available, and therapies can be customized (or even developed from scratch) for each guest's needs.

If a Turkish bath doesn't appeal, the pool just outside is heated.

And now for the video...
