Foodie Buzz: Harbor View Hotel Opens New Vineyard Restaurant

Harbor View Hotel in Martha's Vineyard has kicked off summer with the opening of its new restaurant, Lighthouse Grill.

Formerly known as Water Street, the new restaurant will welcome guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner with harbor front views, nautical-style décor and contemporary New England-style fare.
 
Led by Executive Chef Caleb Lara, Lighthouse Grill will offer produce, meats and poultry from established locally-based farms and fishermen for a family-friendly menu with a focus on fish and steak entrees. Menu highlights include Smoked Bluefish Paté, Lighthouse Bouillabaisse, Henry’s Black Angus Cheddar Burger, and a classic Shore Dinner featuring whole, boiled lobster. A selection of specialty cocktails and an eclectic wine list will also be available. Lighthouse Grill will be open daily for breakfast with brunch on Sundays, and Thursday-Sunday nights for dinner. Starting June 14 it will be open daily for dinner.
 

Through May 31, 20 percent of dinner proceeds will benefit Island Housing Trust, which supports Martha’s Vineyard communities by creating and sustaining permanently affordable housing solutions to low and moderate income island families.
