Foodie Buzz: Marc Gascons Opens El Informal

The Serras hotel in Barcelona has opened a new restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Marc Gascons, El Informal.

Departures magazine says that the restaurant can tailor dining experiences and menus to the tastes of individual guests of the hotel, as well as offer a seasonal menu designed for sharing. Highlights include honeyed potato gnocchi with butter sauce and caviar, charcoal grilled turbot with roasted leek, and grilled black kid with herbal oil, plus a selection of 96 local and Mediterranean wines. 

The Serras, which just opened this year, has only 28 rooms in a neoclassical building on Passeing de Colom.
