Hollywood fans will love this: Director David Lynch has designed a new suite at Paris' Hotel Lutetia that we hear evokes his unique style.
The surrealist filmmaker of Mullholland Drive fame partnered with the Left Bank hotel to show off his more obscure artistic side in room 111, one of the Rotunde suites.
The “David Lynch Signature Suite” displays some of the works he produced from 2004 to 2011 as an ode to his love for Paris. The watercolors, photographs of distorted nudes, lithographs, and drawings focus on themes of love, death and dreams. Lynch produced many of the pieces, like the lithographs, in his Montparnasse workshop (which we hear has historic presses once used by Picasso, Matisse, Giacometti, Miro, and Chagall).
