Musée Picasso Reopens in Paris This Summer

Picasso Museum ParisIt’s been years since the 17th century mansion housing the Musée Picasso closed its doors for a large-scale renovation project. The popular museum in Paris’ Marais district has been much missed by the culturati who flock to the City of Light every year. (Since it first opened in 1985, the museum has welcomed 12 million visitors.)

Showcasing one of the most extensive collections of works by the Spanish-born artist, the museum is on track to reopen this summer with an expanded exhibition space- three times the size of the former area. More than 500 of Picasso’s works will be displayed on four levels. For more information about the museum, located at 5 rue de Thorigny in the third arrondissement, visit www.musee-picasso.fr
