Shangri-La, Paris Debuts Garden Wing

Just in time for summer, the Shangri-La Hotel, Paris has opened a botanically inspired Garden Wing.

The Garden Wing, which sits next to the hotel's L'Abeille restaurant (two Michelin stars, anyone?), features a landscaped French garden in its inner courtyard, with Eiffel Tower views to boot.

The wing is directly accessible from the hotel's lobby. Its addition adds 11 new rooms and nine suites arranged over five floors. Cool touch: On each of these floors, rooms and suites may be combined to form private apartments.

Ask about which rooms overlook the Art Deco-era Pala d'Iena and which half face the Eiffel Tower. All rooms have complimentary Wi-Fi, motion-sensitive lighting, bathrooms with a separate bath and shower, fogless mirrors with flat screen TVs and heated marble floors.
