Grand Hotel via Veneto Completes Renovation on Magnolia Restaurant

Grand Hotel via Veneto, the five-star luxury hotel in the heart of Rome, has renovated and reopened its Magnolia restaurant under the guidance of Michelin-star Chef Franco Madama.

Black marble waterfalls and Murano glass chandeliers welcome guests into the restaurant, while an outdoor patio paved with traditional Roman Sanpietrino stones is also available to guests looking to dine outside. The modern interior is a “perfect canvas” for Chef Franco Madama to showcase his artistry on his plates.

Like the remainder of Grand Hotel via Veneto, Magnolia prominently displays art. In the hotel lobby, original works by Carrà, Dali, de Chirico, Guttuso, Marini, Picasso, and Schifano, and others can be found. The guest rooms contain a collection of local photography.

To Chef Madama, cuisine and art convey the same concept.

An à la carte menu, as well as a five paintings menu, and a six-course Degustation menu are available. The extensive wine list fills the restaurant’s wine room, which is visible from the dining area, and a specialty cocktail menu puts an Italian twist on the classics. Among the notable wines, are: Brunello di Montalcino, Gaja Barbaresco, Ornellaia, Sassicaia; and for champagnes: Cristal, Dom Perignon, Krug.

After dinner guests can move on to The Mag Room, an exclusive space inside the restaurant with hosts live music. Both dinner guests and non-dinner guests are welcome to enjoy The Mag Room’s nightly entertainment.
