The Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival has announced a schedule change for the 2014 Festival.
According to Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival chairperson Tami Bream, the Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival will be moving back a week to March 10 to 15, 2014 due to a date change with the Charleston Wine & Food Festival.
The move is said to be a "sign of respect" for the event’s wine distributors and wine makers, as the same move “continues the recent tradition of giving the State of South Carolina two destination events for foodies and oenophiles alike to visit and enjoy,” Bream said.
The 29th Annual Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival will be launched with a series of educational seminars and wine dinners at some of the island’s restaurants and dining establishments. The Great Chefs of the South Wine Dinners have local chefs pair wines with a variety of menu selections beginning March 10 until 15, 2014.
The Grand Tasting and Silent Auction will be held on March 14, from 5:30PM to 7:30PM. Meanwhile, the Wine & Food Festival and Silent Auction will be held on March 15, 2014 at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn.
