Last week, Hilton announced its newest brand, Curio. Today, we hear that Curio is set to make its Middle East debut in Qatar...but not until 2016.
The details: According to Hotelier Middle East, the 207-room hotel will be located within Doha’s new Al Rayyan Gate district and will be surrounded by the Qatar National Convention Centre and Educational City. The hotel will also be linked to the fashion court in the upcoming Mall of Qatar, currently slated to open in late 2015. (We say this will make the hotel a top pick for shopaholics!)

An announcement on the name of the hotel is expected soon.
Top digs at the hotel will be the 19 suites. (No designer has been named yet.) There will also be two upscale restaurants, a lobby lounge, two outdoor pools and a fitness center with treatment rooms.
For meetings and events, the hotel will have two boardrooms, two meeting rooms and a banquet hall.
