The St. Regis Mexico City has named Bernard de Villèle its new general manager. De Villèle comes to the position having worked at The St. Regis Mauritius as the general manager. He brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The St. Regis Mexico City is located at the Paseo de la Reforma.

Park Hyatt Vienna, the brand’s first hotel in Austria, is set to open its doors on June 1 in a 100-year-old building that once housed the Austrian Hungarian Monarchy Bank. The 143-room hotel, which has 35 suites, is the only hotel in Vienna’s Golden Quarter, the new pedestrian-only, exclusive shopping district. The pool, located in the original bank vault, is tiled in golden-colored stone. The Arany Spa will have six treatment rooms and a separate wet area with steam bath, sauna, samarium and vitality shower.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has named Mário Candeias the new managing director of Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. In his new role, Candeias will oversee all areas of the property, including the suites and villas, restaurants and spa.
