Hotel Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine Claims Its First Michelin Star

The Refectorio restaurant at Hotel Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine, located along the Duero River in Spain, was recently awarded a Michelin Star.

At the restaurant head chef Pablo Montero serves locally grown food, like steamed organic prawns from Medina Del Campo.

“This recognition is a reward for the passion, effort and enthusiasm of the Abadía Retuerta LeDomaine team, which have brought us this precious award thanks to their daily work ethic and focus on excellence,” said Montero.

A typical meal at Refectorio may include red tuna belly, charred leeks and roasted vegetable juice with sherry for an appetizer, followed by an aged rib eye cut with Potimarron pumpkin pureé and seasonal mushrooms with roasted fruit and ice cream for dessert.
