Hotel Arts Barcelona Celebrates Summer

Hotel Arts Barcelona has announced that – to celebrate summer – it is hosting Arola Nights every Thursday night at Hotel Arts’ restaurant by chef Sergi Arola. Arola Nights will feature live music by soul, rhythm and funk band Sinead & The Sinners.

Arola boasts a new Chill-Out Terrace menu, featuring a selection of tapas and cocktails, including Sergi Arola’s patatas bravas and “Seven Deadly” gin and tonics.

Designed by architect Bruce Graham of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, Hotel Arts was built to coincide with the Olympic Games in 1992. The luxury hotel is a landmark on the Barceloneta boardwalk, and it features 44 stories of blue glass and exposed steel soaring above the seafront. It has 483 sea or city view rooms, including 56 executive suites, one Arts suite, one Mediterranean Suite, 26 duplex apartments, one Royal Suite and one Presidential Suite; a terraced gardens and outdoor swimming pool; five restaurants offering a range of fine cuisine; a Spectacular Spa by Six Senses Spa located on the 42nd floor, and a gym; an exclusive collection of Spanish contemporary art; and over 1,000 square meters (10,764 square feet) of function space for meetings and special events, including – on the lower ground and second floor –the 14 open-plan, flexible hotel meeting rooms that provide capacity for around 1,000 people.
