Luxury Travel Advisor has just learned that Hotel Splendido (www.hotelsplendido.com) in Portofino, Italy, is adding five “grand” suites to its inventory in May. Each suite will have a terrace, says Giulio Gentile, director of communication at Orient-Express Hotels (www.orient-express.com). Details of the size of the suites is not yet available, nor are other details, says Gentile, but they will join a significant collection of other accommodations, which include the Presidential, the Exclusive and the Executive Junior suites.
If you haven’t been, Hotel Splendido is in one of the most exclusive, beautiful areas in Italy; perched on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean, it is surrounded by villas owned by celebrities and other fortunate well-to-do folks.
