Recently, Luxury Travel Advisor attended the inauguration of the newly renovated Sofitel Paris le Faubourg. Coinciding with Paris Fashion Week, the champagne-infused soirée drew a chic crowd to 15 Rue Boissy d’Anglas, where DJ Julien Tô spun the sound track. Just a stone’s throw away from Rue Saint-Honoré in the 8th arrondissement, the hotel is in the epicenter of the city’s fashion universe.

The five-star hotel has 147 rooms, including 25 suites, which were newly imagined by interior designer Didier Gomez, who was inspired by the couture history of the neighborhood. (Gomez is renowned for his work with brands like Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Kenzo.) We had a peek at Prestige Suite No. 302 and liked the bold, colorful artwork and framed black and white photographs. Amenities include the signature Sofitel MyBed, Hermès bath products and Nespresso machines.

In big news, Michelin three-star Chef Yannick Alléno opened an outpost of his restaurant concept called STAY (already found in diverse global locales like One&Only Dubai). Casual yet elegant, STAY is known for both its Sharing Table and Pastry Library concepts.
