Palatial villa and five-star resort meet in Provence. If you are looking for lavish, private accommodations set in Southern France with the amenities of a luxury resort, say hello to La Bergerie

The six-bedroom villa sits on its own 3.5 acres at the heart of the Terre Blanche resort. The home was built in May 2012 using both antique and contemporary furnishings to give it a rustic-chic appeal (think double height ceilings, 18th century fireplaces and sub-zero kitchen appliances).

Activities available include private yachting and visiting vineyards.Pictured: Activities available include private yachting and visiting vineyards.

The exterior and interior are spread over 10,000 square feet. The bedrooms have en suite facilities (mountain views from the deep soaking tub, anyone?). A home cinema and wine cellar are available for guests as well. There are also outside living and dining areas, complete with a 60-feet pool. Other amenities include a veggie patch for daily produce, pool house, outdoor kitchen, terrace, Boules court, laundry and barbeque.

No need to bring your entourage. The villa is equipped with its own hostess, chef and housekeeper. Guests of La Bergerie also have full access to the Terre Blanche Resort, which has its own Spa (we hear one of the largest in Europe), restaurant, Kids Club and two golf courses.

Both the resort and the villa are just 45 miles from Nice, and 30 minutes from Cannes in Tourrettes. This opens up the entire Côte d’Azur, should guests want to explore provincial towns, bask in the French Riviera sun, hike and more. The villa has a partnership with a private yacht, the Blue Peter, which can be chartered for day sailing as well. Be sure to inquire about local vineyard visits, complete with wine tasting and lunch.
