One&Only Ocean Club, Bahamas is celebrating its 50th anniversary with 1960's inspired food and drinks. Courtyard Terrace chefs have created the 50th Anniversary Dinner Menu with dishes from the original 1962 Ocean Club Menu, including a Beluga Caviar Plate, Chateaubriand, Stuffed Bahamian Style Lobster, and Pan-Fried Dover Sole.
Jean-George Vongerichten's Dune Bar will also join the 1960's theme, offering up classic cocktails such as the Mint Julep, Brandy Alexander, and a fresh take on the Old Fashioned - made with Angostura bitters, bourbon, and blood orange, and topped with a Caribbean cherry. Mixologists have also added a Bahamian twist to cocktail classics, with fresh-squeezed local pomelo juice in the Greyhound and a Caribbean-spiced cocktail onion in the Gibson.
The Ocean Club's original 1962 opening was host to politicians, earls, socialites, and celebrities such as Zsa Zsa Gabor and William Randolph Hearst.
