Culture Watch: 2011 Designers of the Future

Design-minded W Hotels Worldwide is once again working in collaboration with Design Miami/Basel (we are not surprised) with the announcement of the 2011 Designers of the Future Award, marking the second time that the two organizations have put their heads together.

The award itself was launched in 2006 by Design Miami/Basel, and recognizes young, emerging designers. W Hotels allows for the award winners to be a part of W Hotels designs around the world. This year's Award winners include UK-based designer Asif Khan, Austrian design team Mischer'Traxler and Studio Juju in Singapore, who were chosen based on their design of "Conversation Pieces."
