Fairmont Bermuda Names 30-Year Veteran New Managing Director

Fairmont Hotels and Resorts today announced the appointment of George Terpilowski to managing director of the Fairmont Bermuda.

Terpilowski will oversee the operation of The Fairmont Southampton and The Hamilton Princess. Terpilowski brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience to this position. Most recently, he was general manager at The Fairmont Washington D.C.

While at Fairmont Washington D.C., Terpilowski served as chairman of the Board of Directors for Destination D.C., Washington’s convention and visitors bureau and tourism council and is an active member of the organization’s Executive Committee.

He has also served on the Board of the Hotel Association of Washington D.C. Additional experience includes serving as general manager of the AAA Five-Diamond Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia and serving as managing director of the Mobil Five Star and AAA Five-Diamond The Clift in San Francisco.

He also served as general manager of Union Station Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee and The Brazilian Court in Palm
Beach, Florida.
