Five Hot Beach Clubs to Know

Though it's almost August and you may be feeling depressed that the summer is winding down, fear not. We are here to jolt you right back into summer mode with some of the most exclusive hotel beach clubs around. Here are five that ought to be on your radar.

1. Mayakoba Resort, Riviera Maya, Mexico

Because just one beach club is not enough, this five-star enclave brings you three. The resort encompasses three hotels - Banyan Tree, Rosewood and Fairmont. All three beach clubs are connected via six miles of waterways. Guests can literally "beach club hop" on the Mayakoba Connection ferry service. Cool touch: Signing privileges are available at all three.

2. Monte Carlo Beach Club Hotel, Monaco

Chic is the name of the game in Monaco, and the beach club at the Monte Carlo Beach Club Hotel is no different. Here guests can book a private cabana and sip cocktails, or rent jet skis and wakeboards in order to make the most of your stay. Three seaside restaurants cater to a barefoot luxury crowd, as well. Come nightfall, DJs spin in the Sea Lounge Monte-Carlo.

3. Hyde Beach, SLS South Beach, Miami

In the words of Philippe Starck: "A sexy Hell where beautiful bad girls and bad boys are dancing on the chairs, on tables, drowned in the music, in the heat, in the sweat." How could this not be on our list? The 8,000-square-foot space has pool, beach and indoor/outdoor space. Mixologists whip up creative cocktails while the sexy youth dance the night away.

4. Bagatelle Beach Club, Las Vegas

Those looking for a sexy-chic daytime experience will love the Bagatelle Beach Club. The space includes a 250-seat outdoor restaurant offering Mediterranean-style dining; a sanded area where guests can enjoy a game of beach volleyball and 18 luxury cabanas. The facility also has an outdoor concert venue. Bagatelle Beach Club is located on Ocean Drive, off Tropicana Avenue across from MGM and adjacent to the New Tropicana Las Vegas.

5. Amanusa, Bali

The uber-luxe beach club at Amanusa in Bali sits right in front of the Bali National Golf Resort. The club has nine bales, each with two sunloungers. Guests are entitled to refreshments, light meals and showers. The Beach Club can also be the setting for candlelit barbecues and sunrise breakfasts.
