Flatiron Hotel Looking For Artists to Join Toshi's Playhouse

The Flatiron Hotel, located next to Madison Square Park, in the Flatiron business district in New York City, is looking for artists and performers to participate in its new theater. Toshi’s Playhouse, located in the lobby of the hotel, will include live, weekly theater performances.

Writers, producers, photographers, performers, musical directors, playwrights, songwriters, singers and more are encouraged to apply, by sending materials to the hotel’s address. The theater performances will be taped and posted on Youtube, as well as the hotel’s website.

The 64-room hotel is currently operating under its soft opening, with check-in at 11 a.m. and checkout at 4 p.m. All of the rooms come with the latest entertainment amenities and the hotel plans to open a penthouse, rooftop event space, restaurant and a bar in the Spring of 2012.
