New in Greece: Kenshō Psarou to Open June 15 on Mykonos

The glamorous island of Mykonos—the party capital of the Cycladic islands—is getting a new luxury addition. And Kenshō Psarou will command a prime piece of real estate; Psarou is one of the most popular beaches on the island. Slated to open June 15, this is the latest offering from Kenshō Boutique Hotels & Suites, which opened its first property on Mykonos in 2016 (sister hotel Kenshō Ornos has 35 guestrooms and suites, a spa, and rooftop dining overlooking Ornos Bay).

Here's what's in store at Kenshō Psarou: Designed with local white stone in the Aegean architectural style, this five-star hotel will have 30 rooms and suites perched above the white sands of Psarou beach. All rooms are equipped with outdoor Jacuzzis or private plunge pools, and in-room perks include Hermes bath products, iPads and free wifi. We like the sound of the panoramic Seaview suite with a private rooftop and jacuzzi from where you can spy the action on the beach below.

The Mediterranean lounge will offer waterfront eats with a seafood-focused menu designed by local chef Ippokratis Anagnostelis. There’s also a cocktail bar with sea views. Or, stake your claim to one of the sun loungers in front of the hotel. (This is a coveted stretch of beach, after all!) For a little R&R, head to the spa—the very first on Psarou beach—where you’ll be able to experience innovations like the Quartz Sand Spa Bed Experience or the Spa Verandah Water Pod Experience. On the menu you’ll find anti-aging facials and Medi-Spa Technology Treatments with LED light & Oxygen Infusion, along with couples massages.
