Regina Hotel Baglioni
Regina Hotel Baglioni (here and bottom)  has furnishings and fixtures from some of Italy’s finest artisans.

Glamour-seeking travelers have a brand new luxury address in Rome. Luxury Travel Advisor has the scoop about a Penthouse Suite that is taking its place among Europe’s top-tier accommodations this month. Perched on the 8th floor of the Regina Hotel Baglioni, a favorite haunt of the international jetset, the Roman Penthouse sprawls across more than 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. The vistas alone will leave you with stars in your eyes. Walls of glass give guests a front-row seat to 360-degree views of the Eternal City, while the furnished private terrace comes complete with a Jacuzzi and a fitness area with Technogym equipment.

Milan-based Rebosio+Spagnulo imagined contemporary interiors channeling traditional Italian design. They recruited the country’s finest artisans to decorate the three bedrooms, living room, and dining room. There’s custom furniture by Gabana Arredamenti; a $19,626 chandelier in the Master Bedroom by Lu Murano, the renowned Venice glassmaker; lighting fixtures by Vistosi; fabrics by Domus Market; and an exquisite marble bath by Mongardini in Rome.

The result is a stylish private apartment that’s ideal for hosting exclusive gatherings. In fact, the suite comes with the services of a private chef (three hours) and a barman (two hours) who can serve up couture concoctions for toasting the views. (Our favorite from the hotel’s Brunello Lounge Bar is the “Brunello pour le Bonheur,” which is a blend of Tanqueray No. 10 gin, drops of peach bitter, lychee liqueur, green apple liqueur, and Blue Curacao, and is served with a personalized Brunello Lounge Bar gold earring.)Regina Hotel Baglioni

A location on the Via Veneto means that all of Rome is at your doorstep, but it’s understandable if you never want to leave this sublime sanctuary. When you are ready to venture out, the in-suite concierge can hook up exclusive insider’s experiences, and there’s private limo service (four hours) to get you there. Guests who stay for a minimum of three nights get the added treat of a private tour of the Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica.
