Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has made two appointments: Steve Halliday ([email protected]) as managing director of Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver, scheduled to open in early 2011, and Sara Jones ([email protected]) as spa director at Rosewood Mayakoba. Halliday joins Rosewood from Halliday Hospitality Group, where he was the founder. Most recently, Jones was director of spas for the Chill Spa brand in Dubai.

Orient-Express has named Warren Stone ([email protected]) GM of the brand’s three Botswana safari camps: Khwai River Lodge, Savute Elephant Camp and Eagle Island Camp. Stone was operations manager for All Terrain Services in Ghana.
