The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, which will open on January 19, 2012, finally has a general manager. Marco Selva ([email protected]) has more than 20 years of domestic and international experience in the luxury hospitality business, and will be in charge of the Resort and Residences for the new Miami Beach property.
The Oberoi Group has named Sanjay Rai ([email protected]) to the position of Executive Vice President, Sales. Rai will continue to be responsible for the domestic and international sales for the group, including both Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Trident Hotels. He joined The Oberoi Group in 1996 and will assume his new role this month.
The new Louis Vuitton Island Maison is a first for the luxury brand. Housed in a glass and steel pavilion designed by Moshe Safdie as part of Marina Bay Sands, the Louis Vuitton Island Maison is accessed via boat, bridge, or tunnel.
