Viceroy Hotel Group has named Pilar Rios ([email protected]) as the area director of sales and marketing for its two luxury Mexico resorts: Viceroy Zihuatanejo and Viceroy Riviera Maya. Rios has more than 15 years of executive experience in the business. She comes to Viceroy from Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts where she was area director of sales and marketing for Mexico.
Laucala Island, the private island resort in Fiji, has named Andrew Thomson as its new general manager. With more than 45 years of experience, Thomson comes to the role having most recently been Amanresort’s director of operations and managing director. He has also held senior hotel management positions in the South Pacific, Caribbean, Australia, the US and South East Asia.
Nathan Decker ([email protected]) has been named the new director of sales and marketing at the St. Regis Princeville Resort. In his new role, Decker will oversee group and leisure sales, marketing and advertising activities for the Hawaiian resort.
