Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has launched a loyalty program called Ritz-Carlton Rewards, a move that Herve Humler, Ritz-Carlton’s new president, said was created based on strong customer feedback and demand for a program that goes beyond providing complimentary stays. Members can redeem points for flights on 30 major airlines and luxury cruise lines, such as Crystal Cruises and Silversea. Ritz-Carlton has also teamed up with other top names in travel and retail, from Abercrombie and Kent to Neiman Marcus.

Vincent Guerin has been appointed director of sales and marketing for both Le Méridien Tahiti and Le Méridien Bora Bora. Guerin ([email protected] hiti.pf) comes aboard as Le Méridien Tahiti nears completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation and Le Méridien Bora Bora prepares to launch a similar project. Guerin joins the hotels from The Westin Resort/The Ramanos.

The Oberoi Udaivilas has appointed Jan Tibaldi general manager. Tibaldi ([email protected]) was most recently GM of Viceroy Anguilla and has experience with such hotel operators as Four Seasons and One&Only Resorts.
