Looking ahead toward warmer days, The Lanesborough and Harvey Nichols will celebrate the arrival of summer with a Champagne Afternoon Tea July 1. Over champagne and afternoon tea, models will feature the latest resort wear from designers such as Heidi Klein, We Are Handsome and Missoni under the glass roof of The Lanesborough’s Apsleys, A Heinz Beck Restaurant.
From 4 to 5:30 p.m., highlights of the show, for approximately $79, plus a 12.5 percent Service Charge, include Harvey Nichols' beachwear, featuring the retailer's swimwear and cover-ups. Throughout the event, Heidi Gosman and Penny Klein of Heidi Klein will be on hand to offer tips on how to design guests' wardrobe, as they present their Summer collection, featuring elegant femininity, seasonal brights and bold prints.
