Lennox Hotel Miami Beach To Debut Summer 2019

Lennox Hotels will debut its first U.S. property, Lennox Hotel Miami Beach, in summer 2019. Located in what was once the Peter Miller Hotel, built in 1936, Lennox Hotels is renovating the property, although maintaining its original Art Deco and Mediterranean architectural-style exterior.

The historic structure was designed by architect Russell Pancoast in 1934. The property has the notable distinction of being among the 300 Miami Beach buildings that were leased by the U.S. Army for the Air Forces Technical Training Command during World War II. The buildings returned to civilian use in 1943 and remained a military property until 1944. The structure is now part of the Historic District. Now, upon stepping into the hotel’s front doors, located on the corner of Collins Ave. and 19th Street, guests will be welcomed by the hotel's bar and the lounge area; to the right, they will find the lobby and to the left, a walkway will lead them to the hotel’s restaurant.

Lennox Hotel Miami Beach will have 119 guestrooms, furnishings and materials that were curated by Argentinean interior designer Juan Ciavarella. Accommodations will range in categories from Terrace Poolside (with direct pool access) to Balcony King (offering a private balcony overlooking streets of Miami Beach). Each room will be complete with amenities such as a Nespresso machine, 47-inch LG TVs, a stocked mini-bar with local artisan snacks (think healthy options, such as kale chips, beet chips and dried fruit) and complimentary Wi-Fi.

At the center of the property’s four interconnected buildings is a Mediterranean-style courtyard, including a swimming pool and poolside bar offering al fresco dining and serving cocktails. Additional amenities for guests include complimentary shuttle service within a one-mile radius, including to the hotel’s private area on the beach that offers lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels.
