The new year has brought a flurry of new hotel openings. Another one we’re anticipating is The Oberoi Al Zorah, which will soon open its door in Ajman, just 25 minutes north of the Dubai International Airport in the UAE. Billed as a “unique, luxury eco-destination,” Al Zorah is prized for its sandy beaches, lagoons, and mangrove forests. The new Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah will be an anchor of this tourist destination, with access to golf, kayaking, sky diving, dune driving and more.

What’s in store at this talked-about hotel? Contemporary rooms with sea-facing terraces and 24-hour personal butlers, a children’s activity area, 4,585 square feet of banqueting facilities, an infinity pool and a sprawling spa. These wellness facilities deserve a special shout out; think yoga pavilions, Turkish hammams, and treatments running the gamut from Ayurvedic to signature Oberoi massage therapies. F&B concepts include a beachside grill, an international restaurant, cocktail bar and La Vinoteca wine bar.
