Manhattan Readies for The Quin's October Debut

October is on our heels and with it the debut of a brand-new luxury hotel in Manhattan. The Quin will open on 57th street, near Carnegie Hall, in a 17-story pre-War building that was formerly the Buckingham Hotel.

We hear that the hotel has been re-fashioned to meet today's standards (think dedicated Attaché). Other features include a two-story, 130-seat restaurant, The Wayfarer; a fitness center; and a Business Center. The hotel will have 208 rooms including 28 Suites.

The suites will sit in corner locations and will have deep soaking tubs along with open showers. Note: Be sure to check out the O'Keeffe and Paderewski Specialty Suites, which have been designed to reflect the artistry of their respective namesakes. There is also a triplex Penthouse suite that has its own 1,200-square-foot private terrace, views of Central Park and a full-service kitchen.
