Chic NYC scenesters are going to love this tidbit. It seems that Sean MacPherson (hotelier behind The Bowery Hotel and The Jane) is at it again in Greenwich Village. Hotel Chatter is saying that MacPherson is busy at work readying to open The Marlton Hotel.

Built out of a former SRO building, the hotel will have a restaurant and bar. The website predicts a Summer 2013 opening, but as it is almost August, Hotel Chatter (and we) are a bit skeptical.

Note: We hear the hotel is going for a youthful vibe and will play off the NYU crowd that lives in the neighborhood.
