Millennium UN Plaza Hotel Announces Details of Renovation

If your VIP clients frequently visit New York's East Side, or need to be close to the UN, they'll want to check this out: The Millennium UN Plaza Hotel is undergoing a top-to-bottom interior renovation that is due to be completed in September. Especially exciting is the first $30-million phase, which will debut a West Tower with an exclusive Skyline Club on the 30th floor. The club will include exclusive check-in, personalized concierge services, breakfast, all-day refreshments, evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, WiFi, and use of one of the two adjacent boardrooms.

Other details: The renovated guest rooms will have floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over the New York City backdrop. The hotel's lobby will get a new coffee bar that will offer pastries for breakfast and sandwiches and salads for lunch. In the evenings, guests can take a glass of wine in the lobby lounge.

Scheduled for 2013, Phase II of the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel's renovation will focus on a new restaurant concept, bar and full lobby renovations. Phase III will see the completion of the East Tower renovation.

The Millennium UN Plaza Hotel is located at One United Nations Plaza, 44th Street between First and Second Avenue in New York City. For more information, visit www.millenniumhotels.com/millenniumunplazanewyork.
