New York City's Carlyle Hotel Gets New Managing Director

Here's a name to remember for New York-bound clients: Giovanni Beretta has been named managing director of The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York. In his new role, Beretta will oversee all areas of the Upper East Side hotel, including The Carlyle Restaurant, Bemelmans Bar, Café Carlyle and Sense Spa.

With more than 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Beretta joins The Carlyle after most recently working at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in San Francisco and Miami. In both cities, he spearheaded a complete guest room renovation and he helped re-launch the hotel’s new restaurant and bar in Miami. Previously, Beretta worked for InterContinental Hotel Group for more than 13 years.
