New York State Spa Offers Holiday-Themed Treatments

The Spa at the Whiteface Lodge, Lake Placid, is offering a series of holiday-themed spa treatments that incorporate festive ingredients such as peppermint, pumpkin spice and vanilla.

The new treatments -- available until December 31, 2012 -- are a Peppermint Bliss Massage, an ultra-hydrating Winter Shield Facial, a Pumpkin Spice Manicure & Pedicure and a Whiteface Wonderland Manicure & Pedicure.

"The essential oils of peppermint and pumpkin have been used in massage therapy for many years. Among other benefits, both ingredients help to stimulate circulation and ease muscle tension," said Spa Director Jamie Costa." The essential oil of vanilla, part of our Whiteface Wonderland Manicure & Pedicure is often used by therapists around the world to help with joint pain. Additionally, the aromatherapy properties of each of these oils create a soothing and relaxing atmosphere for our guests to achieve optimal relaxation and rejuvenation."

The Spa's full menu of both Spa and Salon treatments and services will be available throughout the holiday season.
